Raquel is a bilingual English and Spanish board-certified family nurse practitioner with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Denver College of Nursing and a Master of Science from Chamberlain University. She offers more than 8 years of experience in healthcare with experience in inpatient cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, neurology, transplant, medical-surgical, and oncology nursing. She also takes pride in her experience in emergency response in New Orleans, LA, post-Hurricane Ida.
Raquel has a passion for family medicine that focuses on treating patients as a whole person. She strives to help her patients achieve their optimal health through disease prevention. Raquel is extremely excited to be a member of the MedNOW team and to help patients reach their healthcare goals.
Raquel grew up in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, and moved to Denver in 2010. She is family-oriented and prides her Mexican background. She is a lover of music and quality time with her family!
