Are you Due for a COVID Booster?

Who is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine booster?

Who can get COVID Vaccine Boosters?

We’ve been receiving all kinds of information about COVID Boosters lately! Here’s the latest update from the CDC:

“You may choose which COVID-19 vaccine you receive as a booster shot. Some people may have a preference for the vaccine type that they originally received, and others may prefer to get a different booster. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots.”

If you received a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, you are eligible for a booster if you are:

  • 65 years or older
  • Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
  • Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
  • Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings

People who received Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and meet criteria above can get boosters 6 months after their second shot.

If you received a Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you are eligible for a booster if you are 18+ years of age as soon as two months after your shot.
