Hannah Newman is Now IFM Certified

Hannah Newman Received Her IFM Certification

We are pleased to announce that Hannah Newman, FNP, has recently become certified in functional medicine! She received her certification on Friday, December 20, from The Institute for Functional Medicine. MedNOW is able to bill most insurance companies for these services and coverage will be determined by your plan, this is unique in that many other Functional Medicine providers do not accept insurance.

Functional medicine is a patient-centered, science-based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness rather than simply treating symptoms. By integrating traditional medical practices with evidence-based alternative therapies, functional medicine seeks to enhance your overall wellness and support long-term health.

With this certification, Hannah is equipped to provide a more comprehensive approach to care, addressing lifestyle factors, nutrition, genetics, and more to create personalized treatment plans. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition or simply looking to optimize your well-being, Hannah is here to help you achieve your health goals with a tailored approach designed just for you.

We’re excited to see the positive impact this will have on the health and well-being of our patients and community. If you happen to run into Hannah, please offer her a well-deserved congratulations!

At MedNOW Clinics, we believe in honoring the history, cultures, and communities that shape the world around us. As we approach June 19th, we join millions across the country in recognizing Juneteenth, a powerful day of reflection, education, and celebration. Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day , marks the date in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were informed of their freedom—over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It is a day that honors the strength, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation’s history. This day serves as a reminder of the work that has been done—and the continued progress needed—to ensure equality and justice for all. At MedNOW, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful environment for both our patients and staff, rooted in compassion, dignity, and equity. We encourage you to take time on this important day to reflect, learn, and connect with your community. Whether through attending a local celebration, supporting Black-owned businesses, or simply starting a conversation, we hope Juneteenth inspires meaningful engagement and growth. Thank you for being part of our MedNOW family. We’re proud to serve a diverse and vibrant community—and we stand with you in the pursuit of health, equality, and understanding for all. Warm regards,
