David is a physician assistant specializing in pain management, opioid dependence/opioid use disorder, hormone replacement therapy and orthopedics. He earned a Bachelor's degree at Colorado State University, Fort Collins. In 2009 David graduated from Red Rocks Community College PA Program. He has five years experience in orthopedic surgery and over six years experience in pain management and recovery.
With each patient, David’s goal is to identify the underlying diagnosis, explain each diagnosis to the patient and recommend ways to better manage chronic pain. If opioid pain medications are indicated they are managed at low and reasonable doses. His patients should expect detailed explanations of each diagnosis and detailed explanations of imaging, at a level the patient can understand. His patients should expect to learn why chronic pain is present and learn why a recommended procedure has potential to help better manage chronic pain. He will expect his patients put the same amount of effort into treatment of chronic pain that he does
He specializes in performing in-clinic procedures and identifying specific interventional injection therapy for treatment of each pain generator.
David's goal is to effectively explain proper diagnoses, to educate his patients and empower each patient to make their own treatment decisions.
David is located at our Pain Solutions clinic in Englewood
