Theresa Lopez-Scott, DPT, MAC, Certified Therapeutic Pain Specialist Theresa obtained her Bachelors of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota in 1989. She graduated with her Masters of Arts in Counseling in 2016 from Colorado Christian University and obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022 at the College of St. Scholastica. She received her certification as a certified therapeutic pain specialist from the International Spine and Pain Institute in 2018.
She has engaged in a wide range of continuing education throughout the last three decades which includes myofascial release, trigger point release, neuromobilization, muscle energy techniques, shoulder, cervical and lumbar courses, communication classes, along with motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral technique training. Her passion is treating any type of pain ranging from acute, subacute or chronic pain syndromes and has had great outcomes over the last three decades.
Ms. Scott's motto is, “reaching the treatment goals with the least amount of pain”. She has much experience in treating any orthopedic injuries and post-surgical patients.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, hiking, snowshoeing and playing ping pong
