Christina Oldfield, FNP-BC

Christina Oldfield FNP-BC has been a nurse for over 15 years. She is originally from Boynton Beach, Florida with a background in pharmacy where she worked as a manager of a large diabetic supply company in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She moved to Colorado in 2005 and worked as a CNA at Memorial Hospital in the trauma unit and continued her education for her RN. 

 She has extensive experience in the intensive care unit, home care, wound care, women’s health and forensic nursing. She obtained her family nurse practitioner from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and is board certified through the ANCC, (American Nurse Credentialing Center).  She has been recognized by the city of Colorado Springs and was a recipient of the El Paso County Medical Society’s 25th Ted T. Lewis M.D. Excellence in Professional Nursing Award in 2015 and the Colorado Springs Police Department for her community contributions in 2019. She has been published for some of her work and involved in several research studies. 

She resides in Colorado Springs and loves spending time with her husband, 2 children, 3 step children, 4 dogs and cat. She loves to paddle board, hike and travel. She loves the beach, but she gets her fix once a year when she goes to Florida to visit family in Cocoa Beach. Her nursing theory is giving control back to the patient and promoting healthcare to the underserved. She always states she is in the career she was meant to be in. She could not imagine doing anything else.
