Raquel is a bilingual English and Spanish, board-certified family nurse practitioner with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Denver College of Nursing and Master of Science from Chamberlain University. She offers more than 8 years of experience in healthcare with experience in inpatient cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, neurology, transplant, medical surgical, and oncology nursing. She also takes pride in her experience in emergency response in New Orleans, LA post Hurricane Ida.
Raquel has a passion for family medicine that focuses on treating patients as a whole person. She strives to help her patients achieve their optimal health through disease prevention. Raquel is extremely excited to be a member of the MedNOW team and to help patients reach their health care goals.
Raquel grew up in Dallas-Fortworth, TX and moved to Denver in 2010. She is family oriented and prides her Mexican background. She is a lover of music, and quality time with her family!
