September Awareness Month

September is National Cholesterol Education Month!

This September, we invite you to join us in recognizing National Cholesterol Education Month. High cholesterol is one of the leading risk factors for heart disease and stroke, affecting nearly 95 million Americans. Maintaining healthy cholesterol levels is a key step in protecting your heart and overall health.

At MedNOW Clinics, we are committed to supporting your cardiovascular health. The first step in managing cholesterol is knowing your numbers. We recommend that patients over the age of 20 have a Lipid Panel blood test every 4–6 years to monitor their levels.

To schedule a cholesterol screening, you can easily contact your local MedNOW clinic or click the link on our website.

For additional resources on cholesterol, we also recommend visiting the CDC website.

Your health is our priority, and our team is always here to provide guidance, answer questions, and help you take proactive steps toward a healthier future.

Thank you for trusting MedNOW with your care.

December is Flu Vaccination Awareness Month. Did you know that approximately 500,000 people are hospitalised due to flu-related complications in the U.S. every year? Influenza is a common respiratory disease that spreads easily. While most people are only sick for a few days before they get better, some people can get very sick and stay sick for a long time, even people who are in perfect health. The best way to fight against this disease is to receive your annual flu shot. Flu shots are safe, quick, easy, and an important step in keeping yourself healthy during the flu season. If you have yet to schedule an appointment to receive your flu shot, we highly encourage you to do so at your earliest convenience. To book your flu shot appointment, please call your MedNOW Clinic, or you can schedule your appointment online through our website! If you have any more questions regarding the flu shot, the CDC provides excellent information. If you need assistance scheduling your appointment, call your MedNOW clinic. Our staff members are always willing to help! Thank you for taking care of your health!
